Macross fans are in for a treat next month on October 2-4, as the Tamashii Nation 2009 AUTUMN show will be going on, and the next step in the evolution of the VF100’s line will be revealed! Tamashii has revealed interesting news on their site regarding new Macross products to be shown there. Does “Hi-Metal” sound familiar? It was used to describe Bandai‘s diecast metal releases back in the 80’s, and was shown on their Macross toys, starting with the Valkyries from Do You Remember Love?.
Hi-Metal VF is the new category to be unveiled next month at the Tamashii Nations event. Diecast metal will be incorporated in the VF100’s line starting with the Fire Valkyrie, and presumably we’ll see more diecast content in the Hi-Metal VF releases.
