Cybergundam has posted a scan from the January issue of Hobby Japan showing the newest VF HI-METAL toy, the classic VF-1 Valkyrie! The Valkyrie shown is the VF-1J and as you can see it’s a work in progress(probably in 1/100 scale). The 1st release will most likely be the VF-1J Hikaru Custom followed by the iconic VF-1S Roy Focker Special AKA “Skull One“.
This is the 1st time that Bandai has made an all new transforming VF-1 toy in over 2 decades(the last time they designed a transforming VF-1 from scratch was in the 80’s with the High Complete Model AKA HCM VF-1). It’s clearly a far cry from the venerable 1/55 VF-1, being the 1st all new, modern VF-1 toy by Bandai! Click on the thumbnail to take a closer look at the scan!
