Black Myth: Wukong has been a massive success in the gaming world and is filled to the brim with epic boss battles. Some of these bosses will be encountered between shrines, at the end of chapters, and hidden away in secret places with prerequisites needing to be met.
However, there are also some that will just be inhabiting random spots tucked away in each chapter’s maps. Players will need to go off the beaten path if they wish to find Non-Able, but luckily, there are plenty of markings that can make the process easier.

These armor sets work best in New Game+, so Black Myth: Wukong players should try to obtain them at all costs.
How To Find Non-Able In Black Myth: Wukong
Black Myth: Wukong players will first need to progress through Chapter 3 until they get to the Valley of Ecstasy. They will be prompted that they have reached the location when its name appears in the middle of the screen, which occurs while they slide down a snow covered slope. The moment they reach the bottom, a firefly trail will lead them to the Forest of Felicity Shrine. Players will see a pathway they can follow that leads to an archway, which is where they can start the Fox Quest. Here, players will want to take a sharp right turn and follow the trail that leads them downward, eventually reaching a bridge.
Black Myth: Wukong - How to Beat Cloudy Mist and Misty Cloud
Cloudy Mist and Misty Cloud are a duo boss encountered in Black Myth: Wukong's Flaming Mountains, utilizing long-range beams and fiery melee strikes.
Cross the bridge, and you will see a shrine slightly to the left. This is the Brook of Bliss shrine. Interact with it to add it to your list of shrines. To the right of this shrine will be some steps you can go up. Then, turn left to see a path going upward. As you make your way up, you will see a building. Non-Able will be kneeling in the open area just in front of it.
How To Beat Non-Able In Black Myth: Wukong
Recommended Build Elements
- Spirit: Wandering Wight
- Transformation: Red Tides or Ebon Flow
- Notible Spells: Immobilize, A Pluck of Many
- Armor: Any
- Vessel: Wind Tamer or Plantain Fan
Preparation
Non-Able has 2 phases, with the former being the easier of the two. Players will want the Wandering Wight spirit equipped for the passive protection it provides, along with a high damage active use. Guangzhi is an optional boss that will provide players with the Red Tides transformation early into their journey and will help a lot with this fight. Another amazing transformation will be available once players are able to access the zodiac village by completing Chen Loong’s quest and defeating the blacksmith there.
In terms of Armor, players should use whichever can provide them with the highest defense, rather than relying on the other benefits they provide. Players will want to mitigate damage and be able to heal back up with their gourd when low on health. Gamers will also want to put a lot of their points into their Pluck of Many so it can deal out the most damage possible for this fight. It's also a good idea to apply any medicines the player may wish before approaching Non-Able - preferably ones that will increase damage dealt and reduce damage received.
Non-Able First Form
Seeing as this boss is optional, players will face off against Non-Abel at different levels. Those who face off against him earlier than others will want enough mana for a single use of both Immobilize and Pluck of Many — but save them for the second phase.
Non-Able will telegraph before he unleashes an attack, which can deal a massive amount of damage with each hit. Since players have a shrine so close to this fight, there is no need to take the first few attempts seriously. They can become familiar with these telegraphs to reduce as many hits as possible before the second phase to preserve their gourd.
Non-Able Second Form
Once you have fully depleted Non-Able’s health bar, he will enter his second phase with a whole new one. He will be much faster, more agile, and harder to read due to having a wider range of attacks. This is why it is best to save up your resources for this portion of the battle. He will have fast starters, and his follow-ups can create projectiles that players will want to dodge to avoid taking high damage and being knocked over. Players can obtain the Wind Tamer vessel in Chapter 2, which can help a lot with this fight, while those who have already completed Chapter 5 should use the Plantain Fan vessel.
Black Myth: Wukong - How To Find & Beat Emerald Armed Mantis
Emerald Armed Mantis is one of the four bosses in Black Myth: Wukong, who drops a mythical armor piece. Here is how to find it.
There are plenty of times when Non-Able will idle for some time while players are at a distance from him. This will be when players can perform the Pluck of Many Spell. After their clones are capable of moving on their own, players will want to rush Non-Able and cast Immobilize. This can be followed up with the Wandering Wight’s headbutt attack by activating their spirit ability. Players can now use their Transformation and relentlessly attack Non-Able.
Players will be able to defeat this boss before their transformation ends, thanks to the extra damage from their clones and spirit beforehand. In the event that they transform back, players will want to save their stamina for dodging while Non-Able is in the middle of combos and moving around. It is best to strike once his fist slams into the ground or while he holds his position after a follow-up attack — as he will have a window of opportunity. His combos can be hard to read, but a lot of them will end with either a ground slam or a pause before returning to a neutral stance.
Non-Able Rewards
Once the battle with Non-Able is over, players will be rewarded with the following items:
- Blood of the Iron Bull material
- Non-Able spirit
Plates can use the material for cultivating the spirits they like most, while the Non-Able spirit they obtain will unleash a barrage of attacks toward an enemy when activated. Equipping this Spirit means that players will receive a slight increase to their Attack, Critical Hit Chance, and Critical Hit Damage.
However, this comes at the cost of massively reducing one's Maximum Mana. This makes it something that Mana builds should steer clear of equipping.
