Atomic Heart is nearing its release, and it’s looking to be quite a thrilling FPS experience. In this game, players will be going through an uphill battle. Robotics has turned on humanity, and it’s up to you to save the day. But to help hype up the upcoming launch of this Atomic Heart video game, we have a brand new trailer available. This trailer features actor Jensen Ackles who is showing just what it takes to take out some of these mechanical beasts you’ll have to endure while also taking a jab at the latest Hogwarts Legacy release.

While not outright pointing to Hogwarts Legacy, we do see a small child trying to cast a spell onto a robot to take it down with no success. That’s when actor Jensen Ackles steps in and uses brute force to beat these mechanical targets down. It’s certainly a drastic step away from the magical and mystical gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy if you’re tuning into Atomic Heart when it launches later this month. With so many fans playing Hogwarts Legacy, this might be an appealing game if you want a more mature and brutal FPS gameplay experience. 

With that said, if you haven’t been keeping tabs on Atomic Heart, we have you covered. In this game, players are put into an alternative 1955 where the Soviet Union has thrived with new technological advances. Players will be following a mentally unstable officer that is tasked with checking a facility that’s grown quiet. It seems that the robotics built to aid humanity with their different routines and tasks have turned against them. Now anyone that goes near the facility is subject to a quick death from these robotics. You’ll have to use whatever weapons you can craft or pick up as a means to destroy these mechanical enemies.

We’re nearing the release date for Atomic Heart. Players will be able to pick up the game on February 21, 2023. When the title does release into the marketplace, you’ll find it available for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. However, it’s worth noting that Atomic Heart will also be launching on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. So if you already have a subscription to this service, you can enjoy the game without having to pick it up as a standalone title purchase.
